As well as monitoring the works and administrating the contracts as Employer’s Agent, Cornice will also deal decisively with matters around the project such as utility company legal, funders/banks and their monitoring surveyors as well as adjoining landowners. We do not simply report, we report with results.
Cornice has a suite of tailored Design and Build contract, appointment and collateral warranty documents and are able to prepare building contracts, consultants' appointments and third-party warranties. This not only helps manage the risk away from the client as much as possible but it assists greatly in the client obtaining the full scope of work expected. It can also reduce legal and QS fees.
Cornice prides itself on not having cost overruns other than for a change requested by the client but even then any valuations of these are treated as if they were Tim’s own funds.
